Description :
The evaporator is a genuine Laguilharre evaporator delivered in 1979 for preconcentrating whey. The nominal capacity is 14 200 kg/h (284 000 l/day) from 5% to 32%. It’s an MVR plant absorbing 220 kW and 300 kg/h of steam. It is also designed to preconcentrate skimmed milk to 22%. The whey is delivered at 20°C for an infeed at 13°C. It has not been started up for about 7 years.

General maintenance :
We also advice to ad a new MCC and control system and proceed to replacement of fan DC motor by AC motor (+VSD).
